1,2,3:
InnoVapor 510: a manual e-cig model that is operated by pressing a button while inhaling.
A:
analog: another name for traditional tobacco cigarettes that require ignition and burning.
atomize: located in the middle of the device this is the heating element that serves to vaporize the liquid in the cartridge (or mouthpiece) so that it can be inhaled.
atty: a shortened name for "atomizer"
automatic: a model of e-cig that employs an electronic airflow sensor to automatically activate upon inhalation. This means the device turns on when you breath in on the cartridge/mouthpiece. This model looks the most similar to traditional cigarettes in design.
B:
battery: located at the end of the device, opposite the cartridge, this is a lithium-ion rechargeable battery to power the atomizer. At the end of the battery is an LED that lights up when the device is being operated. This is the longest part of the e-cig. It is attached to the atomizer but can be detached for charging and replacement.
batts: a shortened name for "battery"
C:
Candy Oils: Most E-Liquids use candy oils to provide flavor to their E-Liquid. These are made for making candy and baked goods, ULTRApure uses only the pure flavoring compound, meaning only the single pure essential flavoring molecule is used to add flavor, avoiding the use unwanted and un-needed oils and additional ingredients found in candy oils.
cart: a shortened name for "cartridge".
cartridge: this is the mouthpiece of the device. This part houses the e-liquid that gets heated by the atomizer. A cartridge can come empty or pre-filled with e-liquid. To refill a user can remove the cartridge and either "drip" e-liquid directly in or replace with another pre-filled cartridge.
charger: a device used to recharge the e-cig battery with power. Options include usb, car charger, and pcc (pocket charging case).
controlled: the ability to "control" the amount of nicotine one inhales via a manual button. E-cig models that allow for this control are the InnoVapor 510 and InnoVapor M4.
D:
dip: this is a method of refilling a depleted cartridge with e-liquid. Some models, once the cartridge has been removed have an atomizer bridge that sticks out. The user may then carefully "dip" the device with the atomizer facing down, into a small amount of e-liquid. theWith the 401, the atomizer bridge sticks out, which makes it really easy to dip it in eliquid. I put maybe 10 drops in a shot glass, and just dip the atomizer into it for it to "soak up" just enough solution.
drip: also called "direct dripping" as you drip e-liquid right onto the atomizer. This is a method of dropping 2-3 drops of liquid directly on to the atomizer bridge (also called the wick). The liquid will soak in to the wick and you can get around 10 good inhalations from those 2-3 drops. Some people prefer this method to using a filled cartridge.
E:
e-liquid: is the nicotine solution that produces vapor when heated by the atomizer. E-liquid contains nicotine, glycerin, water, and flavoring. Nicotine concentrations range from high doses (to mimic the content of regular cigarettes) to midrange and low doses.
e-cig: another name for the InnoVapor electronic cigarette.
electronic cigarette: a battery-powered device that provides inhaled doses of nicotine by way of a vaporized solution.
flooding: flooding occurs when too much efluid is applied to the atomizer. The Atomizer requires a mixture of air heat and fluid to vaporize the fluid and when there is too much fluid the air flow is stifled. This is a common cause of decreased vapor production with a simple fix, take a napkin and dab the atomizer mesh to soak up some of the fluid.
fluid: another name for e-liquid
G: H: I: J:
InnoVapor 510: a popular manual e-cig model that is operated by pressing a button while inhaling. Produces a large amount of vapor.
juice: another name for e-liquid
K: L:
Leaking: when putting too much e-liquid on the atomizer it can leak into the battery and impair it.
LED: a light that is located on the opposite end of the device, at the end of the battery that is activated during inhalation. The LED serves as an indicator that the device is being operated.
M:
InnoVapor M4: a manually operated e-cig model with a silver or platinum colored battery. It is a long battery which means it has a longer charge. This model is compatible with the any em401 series e-cig.
manual: the user must depress a button to activate the atomizer in order to produce vapor. This model allows the user to "control" how much nicotine inhaled during each use.
mini: this is the smallest e-cig design and looks the most similar to a tobacco cigarette in size. This model is often used by beginners to make a easier transition to using an e-cig.
N:
nicotine solution: this is the e-liquid.
O: P:
pcc: personal charging case
pen style: A common design of the e-cig, so named for its visual resemblance to a ballpoint pen.
personal vaporizer: this is another name for the InnoVapor electronic cigarette.
pg: propylene glycol
pocket charging case: for recharging the InnoVapor 510 model. This case allows for the user to charge their e-cig on the go. Also the charger can be recharged itself by plugging it into a computer with a USB cable, or using a wall adapter or car charger.
pooling: when a cartridge is overfilled it will "pool" with e-liquid. This can cause damage to the device or allow liquid to get in your mouth. The most drips you should put into a cartridge usually about 7-8 drops or until the polyester fiber is saturated.
propylene glycol: an ingredient found in other brands of e-liquid. some people have an allergic reaction to it so ULTRApure uses vegetable glycerin instead.
pv: personal vaporizer
Q: R:
recharge: since the InnoVapor e-cig is a reusable electronic device this is the term used for recharging your battery.
S:
starter kit: a kit containing all the necessary components to use the e-cig device. It contains all the necessary parts of the e-cig itself, as well as charger, e-liquid, and replacement parts. T:
throat hit: this is how the vapor feels to your throat when inhaled. Note that various models and liquids produce different throat hits. Which is important to note as this is key to any heavy smoker.
Topping off or Topping up: You will see inside the empty cartridge/mouthpiece a small fluffy pad. That small fluffy pad is your nicotine cartridge. It is this wick where you will drip 2-3 drops of eLiquid if you are experiencing reduced vapor production.
U:
ULTRApure: Ultra premium American made E-liquid. V:
vape: This term refers to the act of vaping, as a smoker 'smokes' a person who is using an e-cig 'vapes'.
vaporizer: A mesh screen that holds a fluid in suspension over a heat source to allow the fluid to vaporize, turn into a mist (vapor).
vegetable glycerol: Vegetable glycerol (VG) is the main ingredient in ECOpure. This fluid has been used medically for inhalation for years in asthma inhalers. It is a natural compound not only holds the dissolved nicotine well but is used in foods all over, and unlike PG fluids VG fluids aren't found in antifreeze and engine cleaners and do not contain any known carcinogens.
Vg: vegetable glycerol (vegetable glycerin)
